HTA Selected
for Sandia's Mentor/Protege Program
(LAS CRUCES,
NM—January 27, 2006)
On
Jan. 27, Horton Technical Associates, Inc.
(HTA) attended the orientation for the Sandia
National Laboratories Mentor/Protégé Program,
which enables small companies to enhance
their business processes and improve opportunities
for business-to-business networking.
HTA is a
small, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business
located in Las Cruces, NM. The company offers
technical, analytic, and software engineering
and development support to U.S. government
agencies and industries involved in the
development, analysis, modeling, and simulation
of advanced technologies, systems and processes.
Sandia National
Laboratories has paired HTA with Scientific
Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
Begun as a one-person consulting firm, HTA
has experienced explosive growth over the
past three years. The affiliation with Sandia
and partnering with SAIC will enable HTA
to continue this pattern.
Sandia National
Laboratories is not the only organization
to recognize HTA’s business services. On
March 23 2005, HTA received recognition
from the Department of the Army for its
support to the Future Combat Systems (FCS)
program. And on June 23 2005, HTA was recognized
as one of the top 40 fastest-growing companies
in New Mexico.
