HTA Receives
$3.2M Contract Award from U.S. Army
(LAS CRUCES,
NM—June 3, 2005)
Horton Technical Associates, Inc. (HTA)
has received a 5-year, Indefinite Delivery
Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from
the U.S. Army Materiel Systems Analysis
Activity (US AMSAA), located at Aberdeen
Proving Ground, Maryland. This contract
supports continued development and enhancement
of AMSAA SURVIVE model and provides analytic
support for the Army’s Future Combat System
(FCS) Program and other weapon system development
and enhancement efforts.
HTA developed
the SURVIVE model to allow AMSAA and other
Government agencies to identify and resolve
key issues affecting the performance of
ground combat systems. Data generated by
the model allow engineers, analysts, and
program managers to quickly estimate the
utility of advanced survivability technologies
and their impact on platform capabilities.
Horton Technical
Associates, Incorporated (HTA) is a private,
